A meeting between director of BHANSA Mr. Davorin Primorac and Tuzla International Airport director Mr. Rifet Karasalihović was held on 10th January, 2019 at the BHANSA Head Office in Mostar.
Information on the current status and activities, as well as the development plans of BHANSA and Tuzla International Airport were exchanged during the meeting. The parties recognized the very good cooperation between Tuzla International Airport and BHANSA, and in particular with Approach and Aerodrome Control Unit in Tuzla, which provides approach and aerodrome control services at this airport.
BHANSA Director Mr. Primorac congratulated Mr. Karasalihović on his achievements in air traffic development at Tuzla International Airport, which are reflected in a marked increase in the number of passengers and cargo carried from this airport. BHANSA has given its full contribution to this success through working hours of 19 hours a day, which is often extended according to operational needs of traffic. Also meteorological services are provided at this airport H24, and aviation technology and department of pre-flight information have also given a full contribution.
Mr. Karasalihović also emphasized the importance of infrastructure projects such as the construction of a new terminal building and the extension of approach lights, and Mr. Primorac noted that BHANSA had planned the renovation and reconstruction of the control tower facility.
At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that BHANSA supports MAT in negotiations and efforts to increase the number of operations and capacities as well as to attract new air carriers.
