On 13.12.2016. Defence Minister, Marina Pendeš met director of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency (BHANSA), Davorin Primorac, at the premises of Ministry of Defense. They discussed the cooperation between Ministry of Defense and BHANSA in the area of aviation.
They talked about the implementation of the Agreement on Civil-Military Cooperation in the area of aviation between Bosnia and Herzegovina Air Navigation Services Agency and Ministry of Defense, which was signed on 27.01.2016. They also discussed the possibilities of improvement of cooperation, referring to the need for joint purchasing and installation of radar systems, which is in accordance with the NATO`s Partnership Goals in this area.
Director of BHANSA, Davorin Primorac thanked Minister Pendeš for the reception and pointed out that there is significant progress in cooperation, which refers to taking responsibility for providing services in the airspace of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the use of air space, cooperation in the development of plans in the area of aviation and joint use of material and technical resources.
Minister Pendeš expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between the Ministry of Defense of BiH and BHANSA. As noted above, this cooperation is realized in accordance with the legal competencies and responsibilities in matters of implementation of the signed agreement and the resolving of issues of common interest.
