BHANSA and Mostar International Airport meeting

A meeting between the director od BHANSA Mr Davorin Primorac and Mostar International Airport Mr Marin Raspudić was held at the BHANSA Head Office in Mostar on 28th February, 2019.

At the meeting, it was emphasised that a very good cooperation, between BHANSA and Mostar International Airport, had been established.

Mr Davorin Primorac emphasised that BHANSA fully supported activities undertaken by Mostar International Airport in order to increase the volume of traffic. In that regard, information on development plans of these two institutions were exchanged.

BHANSA, within the "New Flight Procedures Design at the Bosnia and Herzegovina International Airports" project, plans, among other things, to design a set of procedures with the aim of improving take-off and landing conditions at the Mostar International Airport. The process of professional training of new ATCOs is in progress at the Aerodrome and Approach Control Unit in Mostar.

On the other hand, Mostar International Airport plans and implements activities to improve infrastructure and create more favourable conditions for users of its services. Thus, in 2018, the apron was expanded by adding one aircraft parking position, and the works on the expansion of the terminal will begin soon. Likewise, other projects to improve infrastructure and conditions for the service users are being prepared.

In the end, it was concluded that the cooperation between BHANSA and Mostar International Airport would continue in the future, as well as the practice of holding mutual meetings.
